What it does today

Products
Every material you buy and every good you make, with its category, stocking unit, and the last price you paid. Search and filter as the list grows.
Recipes
What goes into each batch: the ingredients, how much of each, the unit, and the scrap you expect. Each recipe carries a revision number.

Works on the workshop floor

Every screen fits a phone. Check a recipe or a price where the work happens, not back at a desk.

Sign-in

Google is the only way into Hephaestus

There is no password form to guess or phish. People sign in with the Google account they already use, and its two-step verification protects Hephaestus too.

The whole sign-in page.

What an uninvited account sees.

No passwords
Nothing to leak, reuse, or reset. Google checks who is signing in, then Hephaestus checks they were invited.
Invite only
The owner adds people by email. Any other Google account is turned away with a clear message.
One account per person
An invited email is tied to one Google account, so a different account using the same address is refused.

Questions we get

What can it do today?

Products, materials, and recipes: what you buy, what you make, and what goes into each batch. Stock, purchasing, sales, and accounting are next.

Does it work on a phone?

Yes. Every screen fits a phone, so someone on the workshop floor can check a recipe without a laptop.

Can it run more than one company?

Yes. Each company gets its own database, and people with access to several switch between them from the top bar.

Who owns the data?

You do. Your products and recipes are yours, and they go with you if you stop the subscription.

What does it cost?

One monthly fee, quoted for your business on the first call, before you commit to anything.
